Interested in some general feedback on your manuscript? The beta reading service will include a full read through of your manuscript (how much you send is up to you) along with a page of written feedback of what “worked” and what didn’t as a reader.
This service will include an initial full developmental edit. Your manuscript will be read thoroughly with plot holes, inconsistencies, pacing issues, character issues, etc. identified with ideas suggested as to how to address them. You will receive a full written report outlining issues as well as suggestions for correction. This can be a one-time service or, if you’d prefer for a longer-term developmental editing relationship, private arrangements can be made.

If your manuscript has already been through beta reads and developmental editing, it’s time for copying editing! Copy editing will involve the full review of your manuscript to identify any stylistic issues: clunky wording, unnecessary repetition, incorrect word choice, etc. Corrections will be suggested via “tracked changes” in Word, so you are able to decide which corrections you wish to make and wish you don’t.
Please note: this is NOT the same as proofreading. While misspellings or obvious mistakes may be identified, a final proof edit on any manuscript is recommended.
